Show Home Etiquette
Whether you’re a first-time buyer or looking to relocate, we hope you're mindful when taking a tour of the Parade of Homes.
When entering a show home, think of using the same set of manners as you would in a friend’s house for the first time:
- Remove your shoes at the entryway before exploring the rest of the home
- No food or drinks, this way you won’t risk damaging anything
- Keep an eye on your kids, many builders have a space set up for kids allowing the adults to visit the home without worry
- Don’t use the show home’s bathroom as this should be reserved for the buyers only
- No smoking - out of respect for the homebuilder and other potential buyers, please refrain from smoking
- Don’t park on the driveway - avoid leaving tire or oil marks on the driveway, park on the street instead
- Don’t swear - show respect to other potential buyers
- Don’t take anything from the show home, if there are any decorations that catch your eye, ask the staff where they may be purchased
